Robert Edward Sellers

He was born September 18, 1933 and was the son of the late Oscar R. and Ruth Risser Sellers.

Robert lived his entire life in Rockingham County. He was a graduate of McGaheysville High School and Dunsmore Business College. He was a member of Mt. Olive Presbyterian Church where he served as an Elder and a Sunday school teacher. He was also a member of West Rockingham Ruritan Club.

Robert and his wife of 55 years, Shelby Lilly Sellers, owned and operated Blue Ridge Florist in Harrisonburg. He retired from Southern Refrigeration.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Andre Sellers of Richmond, VA; two brothers, Raymond Sellers, Jr. of Sevierville, TN, and John Richard Sellers and wife, Dee Dee of Broadway; two sisters, Doris Hensley of Harrisonburg and Barbara Roller and husband, Lawrence, of Mt. Sidney; as well as numerous nephews and nieces.

A memorial service will held at Mt. Olive Presbyterian Church on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Wayne Wright and Stacy Meyerhoeffer officiating.
