He was born on February 3, 1969 in Littlefield, TX and was the son of the late Nicholas Ortega and Oralia Gonzales Ortega.
Nicholas was employed with Pilgrim’s Pride, George’s Timberville, formerly Wampler-Longacre. He also helped make deliveries and pick-ups for Mercy House for several years.
He is survived by his sisters, Linda L. Ortega and Julie A. Ortega both of Harrisonburg, Bersabela Orpineda and Lisa G. Sanchez both of Texas; a half-sister, Roseann Flores of Pecos, NM; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews from Virginia and Texas.
Nicholas will be cremated and a Celebration of Life Service will be held from 3-5:00 pm, on Friday, February 24, 2017 at Our Community Place (OCP), 17 E. Johnson St., Harrisonburg.
