Raymond D. White Sr., 81, of Harrisburg, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2013 in the Harrisburg Hospital. He was born March 8, 1931 in Mundy’s Corner, PA; he was the son of the late T. Raymond and Alice White.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Cecelia White; his children, Raymond Jr. and his wife Tami, daughter, Barbara Reifsnyder, and son, David and his wife Debbie; his grandchildren, Melissa Reifsnyder, Seanie White, Gregory Reifsnyder, Hannah White Gibson, Natalie White, Luke White, Ashley White and Austin White.
He was retired from the PA Department of Revenue, Tax Bureau with 37 years of service and a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War.
He was a member of the Lawnton American Legion Post 998 and the Golden Hearts Club.
In his leisure time he enjoyed cycling and was an avid sports fan.
Funeral Service will be held 12:00 PM Noon Friday, February 1, 2013 in the Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St., Harrisburg. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. A viewing will be held 11:00 AM to time of service Friday at the funeral home.
