Dale was born on August 26, 1942 in Harrisburg, to the late Luther W. Peck Sr. and Ethel M. (Stansfield) Peck.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy L. Peck; brother, Luther W. Peck Jr; and sister, Betty Wilson.
Surviving Dale are his children; Lisa L. Heintzelman and significant other William H. Bopp; son Daryl S. Peck and his wife Vicki L. Peck; grandchildren, Amy L. Butcher and husband, Michael L. Butcher, Carly M. Hetherington and husband, Francis X. Hetherington, III, Dustin S. Peck and wife, Althea G. Peck, and Cory J. Peck; great grandsons Francis X. Hetherington IV, Carson O. Buffington, Mason E. Butcher and Hudson L. Butcher; and his friend, Jan Morrow.
Dale was a 1960 graduate of Central Dauphin High School. He retired from AMP, Inc. with over 30 years of service, where he worked as a master craftsman and shop leader in sales promotion. Dale enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family and friends, woodworking and being outdoors hunting, fishing, camping and boating.
A visitation for Dale will be held Thursday, July 20, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Neill Funeral Home, 3501 Derry St, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania 17111. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM following the visitation.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
