Our lives were gifted on August 23, 2005 when Cheyenne C. “Buddha” Robinson was born to her ever-loving Mother, Jasmine Robinson of Harrisburg and her Father, Jay Calfee Jr of Pittsburgh. Unexpectedly on Friday December 8, 2023, Cheyenne, at the tender age of 18, gained her Angel Wings as she passed at home in the affectionate arms of her dear Mother. Cheyenne “Buddha” was known for being a Light that captured your heart, from her wide smile and warm, generous soul and being spoiled with love. She was easy to love and impossible to forget, imprinting on the lives of anyone she encountered. Cheyenne loved spending time with her family, especially her Nonny/Nani (Great-Grandmother) Dorothy Robinson. She had a love for Asian, specifically Japanese culture, with dreams to travel and possibly live there one day. An avid enthusiast of Anime and Horror movies, she would spend her time writing fanfiction and creating OC characters. Cheyenne loved traveling and being surprised with random trips anywhere her family could think to go. She enjoyed cosplay, Anime Cons, museums, concerts, fishing, archery, horseback riding and goat yoga. From an early age, Cheyenne had a deep love for music that spread across genres and began taking piano lessons at age 5, falling in love with her piano teacher, Ms Sharon Wallace, more than the piano itself. She adored animals of all kinds, infants and helping anyone that needed assistance. Cheyenne was due to graduate from Central Dauphin High School in the spring of 2024, with Academic acceptance into Cooks Honor College at IUP with hopes of pursuing Voice Acting and Entertainment. Cheyenne is survived by her Adoring Maternal Grandmother Joy Robinson of Harrisburg, Poppa “Mister” Ron Kurtz of Lancaster, Great-Grandmother Dorothy Robinson of Harrisburg, her loving Aunts; Jennifer Gaiski (Samuel) of Harrisburg, Carina Dixon (James) of Harrisburg, Honorary Aunt Desiree Washington of Harrisburg and Godmother Miracle Cooper of Harrisburg. She is also survived by her Paternal Grandparents Jay Calfee Sr and Rachelle Calfee of Pittsburgh, Aunt Tamisha Baako-Boafo, Uncles; Brandon Calffe and Rasean Calfee, Paternal siblings Ayauna Welch, Amiya Haley, Jayden Calfee-Bender, Jay Calfee III, Chance Edwards-Calfee, Javion Calfee-Bender and Kynzi Calfee, along with a vast host of Uncles, Aunts and Cousins. Cheyenne was welcomed into her spiritual transition by her Great-Great Aunt Edith Gwyn, Great Grandfather John Robinson, Uncle John Rucker, Grandmother Sylvia Calfee, Aunt Dawn Wright, Grandfather Marshall Johnson, and Great-Grandparents Waymon and Ardelia Johnson. While Cheyenne’s life on earth was short, she continues to be a Gift of Life through her organ donation.
To honor her in life we are asking that you wear Purple, Red or your favorite graphic tee.
