Mrs. Carolyn Ann "Carol" Hoff (Althouse), of York Springs, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2025, in York Springs at home with her family. Born on November 23, 1945, in York, Pennsylvania, Carol lived a life rooted in family and caring for all.
Carol was the beloved wife of Thomas Hoff Sr., with whom she shared many years of companionship and devotion. Together they raised a loving family that includes their children: Melissa Chivers, Andrew Hoff, Tammy Hess, and Terry Hoff. Carol’s life was also shaped by the memory of her son Thomas Hoff Jr. and Larry Chivers, who preceded her in death.
Also, Carol has 14 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Throughout her life, Carol was known to those around her as a steady presence and a source of strength. Her legacy lives on through the lives she touched—especially within her family circle.
A funeral service to honor and remember Carol’s life will be held at the convenience of the family.
