Betty Jean Bost Norman

Betty Jean Bost Norman, 71, of 111 Canfield Dr. Olin, died Wednesday August 21, 2013 at the Brian Center of Statesville. Born in Iredell County on August 5, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Robert Fulton Bost and Louise Kestler Bost. She was a CNA and worked for 19 years at J.P. Stevens & Company. She attended Lewisville Pentecostal Holiness Church and loved and cared for her family. On April 22, 1961, she married Mr. Henry L. Norman who died on April 26, 1992.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Dwayne F. Norman.

Survivors include two sons, Cicero (Lynn) Norman and his wife, Teresa of Elkin and Bobby John Norman and his wife, Angela of Hamptonville, two daughters, Deborah (Debbie) Taylor of Jonesville and Lena Faye Tulbert of Olin. Also surviving are a brother, Robert (Sonny) Bost and a sister, Barbara Ann Bost Key both of Statesville along with 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Services celebrating Betty's life will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the West Yadkin Assembly Of God with Pastor David Frankenfield and Michael (Mikey) Mahan officiating. The family will receive friends this evening (Saturday) from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the Reavis Funeral Home Of Harmony.
