Raul Silva

San Benito, Texas - Raul Silva, 77, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 6, 2011. Mr. Silva was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and a friend to many. He loved his family very much and his family loved him dearly. He will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Santos Silva and his sister, Esther Rodriguez.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sidalia Silva; his two sons, Raul Jr. (Martha), Hector (Rosie); his two daughters, Diana (Randy) Freudenrich, Jesusita (Gilbert) Garcia; 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandson; six brothers and sisters, Ramiro (Belia), Alfredo (Janie), Juan (Ester), Maria Garcia, Daniel (Aida), Irma (Tony) Gonzales.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 8, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 9, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Chapel in Harlingen, Texas. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are his 4 Grandsons: Hector Silva, Jr., Raul Victor Silva, Andrew Silva, and Gilbert Garcia III. Also serving as pallbearers will be Jesse Terrones and Jonas Reyna.
