ROBERT R. LEEPER, 86, of Grabill, passed away Friday, Nov. 1. 2013, at Parkview Regional Hospital. Born June 29, 1927, in Farmer, Ohio, he was the son of the late Raymond and Ester (Jessup) Leeper. He was a US Air Force Veteran of WWII. He obtained his undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University and his Masters degree from University of Colorado at Boulder. He taught Mathematics, Computer Technology and Computer Science at IPFW, where he retired as Professor Emeritus. He enjoyed his two cats, Condoleeza and Margaret as well as his love for his family. He also enjoyed tending to his English Walnut trees which he grew from seedlings. He was an avid Ohio State fan, golfer and enjoyed gardening and photography. He volunteered at Matthew 25 for 18 years. He was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Surviving are his wife, Doris; sons, Dan (Lisa) Leeper of Grabill, Dean Leeper of Harlan and Robert Leeper Jr. of Fort Wayne; daughter, Kay (Todd) Shock of Hicksville, Ohio; grandchildren, Haley (Colin) Biggs, Daniel and Kristine Leeper, Nicole (Nick) Yoder and Kailey (Jesse) Reid; and eight great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Fay Leeper; and brother, Thomas Leeper. Service is 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Harlan, Ind. Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4, 2013 at Hockemeyer Funeral Home, Harlan, Ind.
