Geraldine Ramona Scott

Geraldine Ramona Scott of Hanford, CA passed away, surrounded by loved ones, on Tuesday March 6, 2018 at the age of 88. She was the second child born to Carrie Eichman on July 14, 1929 in Shattuck, OK. Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband; Robert Scott, her mom; Carrie Eichman and her brothers; Jack Eichman and Thomas Eichman.

Geraldine is survived by her sisters; Jean Eddings and Kay Kabeary (John) and her brother; William Eichman. Geraldine is survived by two sister-in laws; Carla Eichman and Joan Eichman. Geraldine is survived by her son; John Lape (Susan) and her daughter; Denise Ricciuti (William). Geraldine is survived by her four grandchildren, John Michael, Lena (Richard), Mia, and Angelina, as well as three great-granddaughters, Shelby, Carly, and Scarlett. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and loving friends.

Geraldine was the most loving and caring mother, sister and grandmother anyone could ask for. Whenever you were around her you could not help but be happy. She would always make sure everyone else was taken care of before her; taking care of others was her life passion. Her faith in Christ was something that never changed, no matter what hardship she was going through. She would volunteer at her church for anything, from being a greeter to helping with the monthly pot luck. She would also volunteer to help with the elections. She is now in the heaven she spoke so lovely about.

The services will be held on Thursday March 15, 2018 at 9:30am at Seventh Day Adventist Church900 N. Redington St. Hanford, followed by a graveside service at Grangeville Cemetery in Armona.
