Cathryn Ann Bobo was born in Atkins, Arkansas on October 28th, 1947, to the union of Lacy Bobo Sr and Alice Dickens. Cathryn moved to Hanford after she graduated from High School in 1965. She started employment at Contadina full-time where she worked for 20 years and worked part-time as a teacher's aide at multiple elementary schools. After retiring, she pursued an education at COS where she obtained her Associates Degree in Child Development. She worked for many different childcare facilities before starting her own business at her home where she kept her grandchildren, her children never had to worry about a babysitter. Cathryn had a loveable sweet touch with children and parents took their children out of facilities and followed Cathryn to her home. She was well known as "MamaCat" or "CatDaddy" she was always a mother and a father. Retiring from childcare never happened. Up until her time if you needed someone, she was there to keep your child. Cathryn's hobbies were making arts and crafts with her grandbabies, teaching them the fine art of thrift shopping and yard selling and talking on the phone. She enjoyed checking in on everyone around the town and back home in Arkansas and Texas. Cathryn will join her son Leo Herd in Heaven and will leave her 3 daughters; Sheila Curry, Bridget Clark, and Dorcel (Shay) Boyd, and son Latorance (Ardell) Flax, God-daughter Teasa Wyatt, 15 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and her siblings Frances Robinson, Anna Coprich, Charles Bobo, Donny Bobo, Memberee Bobo, Albert Bobo, and Lacy Bobo Jr, who preceded her in death in 2017, Cathryn will be extremely missed and forever in our hearts.
