Veda Gibson Angel

Veda Gibson Angel, 87, entered Heaven's gates on Sunday, September 2, 2018. She was born in Bladenboro, North Carolina on December 22, 1930 and was a resident of Hampton, Virginia for 65 years. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church, Hampton. Veda was preceded in rest by her husband, Woodrow Angel; sons, Frank Gibson and Bobby Gibson. She is survived by her children, Linda Spivey, Stephen Gibson and Thomas Gibson; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and other extended family. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Victory Baptist Church, 445 Shelton Road, in Hampton. A celebration of Veda’s life will follow at noon at the church. Entombment will be in Parklawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Victory Baptist Church.
