Lucille Smock

Lucille Johanna Smock, age 100, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 15, 2021 in Poquoson, Virginia. Mrs. Smock was a native of Indiana and a resident of Hampton for 60 years where she was a homemaker and a military wife. She was a member of Langley Air Force Base Chapel, the Officers Wives Club, loved bowling and was a member of various bowling leagues over the years, she assisted with Meals on Wheels, and was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Lucille was preceded in rest by her husband of 72 years, Don; a daughter Sandra Worley; brothers, Delmer and Melvin; sister, Bernice Deutch. Survivors include her two sons, Steven Smock and Michael Smock; two grandchildren, Nicole Smock and Jefferey Worley; Daughter-in-Law, Betty Furlough; future grandson-in-law, Matthew Cooper. There will be a private Celebration of Life on Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home with Interment to follow. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we will be adhering to social distancing as well as the wearing of masks.
