So hard to believe that you have spreaded your wings and flown to Paradise. I wanted you to be with us longer but God needed you, He took a great man when he took you, you never had a frown always a smile. You always make us smile. I love you your my granddad and I will forever miss you.

Dear Lung (uncle) Chuck,

You are the coolest uncle ever, today we went to Starbuck and thinking of you because everytime that you visit BKK, you will always asking for Starbuck Coffee and coconut cake even it late night. But we're so happy and enjoy drinking with you cause you always has interesting story from military to tell :) 

I also remembered once we were in Las Vegas, we are really enjoy drinking and gambling together even it is just short time. 

From the first till last time we met, I knew that you are loving my aunt (Tuy) so much, thank you for taking very good care of her for long time. She has big smile and very happy because of you. You will be missed Lung Chuck.

Dear Pops, 
Im going to try to get these words out of my heart, but I cant guarantee I can finish this. Tears are hitting my fingers as I type.

Im not even sure where to start. Theres a lot that hasnt been said out loud, but its not necessary because I know how you feel. More than anything, I want to say thank you and I love you.  

My grandfather, Pops, was the best grandfather anyone could ever have in a lifetime. I vaguely remember during an occasion, whether it being Christmas, a birthday or just coming to visit, he would always bring my sister and I gifts from his travels. He loved all of us very much, and I can remember the very last time I saw him before he left. He was smiling and up and walking, he made jokes and always made me laugh. He liked those mini croissants from the local grocery store, and he knew that I would always eat them. I never considered going into the military, but have taken JROTC, which is a junior military preparation corporation to help prepare any high school student for the military. I took a class in that field my Sophomore year, and I loved all of it. I felt like I was Pops when I learned to salute and was dressed in uniform. I felt that if he saw me in that class, he would have been proud. When I had my awards ceremony for JROTC cadets, I was a flight NCO (Non Commissioned  Officer) of my squadron; my father and mother were both there to give me my wings for working hard. Both my mother and my father told Pops about it, and he was very happy, he told my father "Burr" that I was going to get somewhere, and that I was doing an excellent job. Now that he left I cannot bare the hurt, as to which I did not want to attend his service today as well as the viewing. I only want to remember him when I saw him weeks ago alive and happy, not in his casket. I know he will not be present to see me graduate this year, but I know that his spirit will be there watching me become a young and mature lady. I loved Pops a ton, and he helped me through a lot and helped my parents as well. Every time I would see Pops, he'd always smile, no matter what situation was occurring at the time. I love you, grandpa, and I'll always remember you as the bubbly, tough; softy "big bear" of the Hanselmann family. With great love and sincerity, your grandchild, Sarah.
