She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Claude Keener and mother, Alma Wilson Ilish; and sister, Claudette Ilish.
Brenda is survived by her children, Thomas Byrd (T. Byrd) and wife Michelle, Krissy Byrd, and Brandon Byrd; grandchildren, Tommy Byrd, Stefani Smith and husband Allen, Chase Beasley and fiancée Rozalia, and Triston Stevens; great-grandchildren, Roman and Brently; and two siblings, Dennis Keener and Jimmy Ilish.
Her life passions were taking care of others in need. Her selflessness and joy touched many lives as a person that cared for others. Many young lives were changed by her teaching and worshipping God.
A celebration of Brenda’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 14, at Parklawn Memorial Park.
