Arthur Anthony Colombini

Arthur A. Colombini (Art), age 85, passed away into the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, November 6, 2024 after an extended illness. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on May 29, 1939 to Bruno and Martha (Urbana) Colombini. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Ann E. Colombini; and friend and first wife, Saundra Haines. He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Holloway (Greg); two step-sons: James and Robert Capehart; and sister, Shelley Kirk (Steve). He is also survived by two grandchildren: Ryan Holloway (Caroline) and Ben Holloway; along with four great-grandchildren. Art spent his career as an employee of Ohio State Institute, moving to South Bloomfield, Ohio after retirement. He enjoyed singing in the choir at his neighborhood Methodist Church, driving around in his Mustang, and meeting with his "Colombini" cousins. Friends and family are welcomed to attend a Celebration of Life service on Friday, November 22, 2024, at 2:00 PM at South Bloomfield Methodist Church, 5027 W Second Street, Ashville, Ohio 43103. Visitation and light refreshments will follow in the fellowship hall. He will be laid to rest at a later date beside his wife, Ann, at St. Joseph Cemetery.
