Richard Lee Dixon, age 81, of Chestertown, MD went to his eternal home on Tuesday, February 08, 2022.

Richard was born on July 26, 1940 in Fort Worth to Paul Ernest and Laura Mae Brown Dixon.

Richard retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers after 45+ years of service.

Richard is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Anne Dixon of Lillian, TX, sons Richard Lee Dixon, Jr. of Crumpton MD, Russell Jess Dixon and daughter in-law Traci Leigh Dixon of Watauga TX , his sister Joyce Faye McGilvray and brother-in-law, Floyd W. McGilvray, of Shive, TX, four grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on February 26, 2022 at Riley Funeral Home with interment at Murphree Cemetery in Evant.
