Norma Sue Morgan, beloved mother, passed away peacefully on June 23rd at the age of 76, She is survived by her loving children Robin Ellis, Rebecca Whitehorn, Mark Peters, grandchildren, great grandchildren and brother Winfred Morgan. Sue was preceded in death by three sisters and her loving parents Iva Lorene and Walker Morgan of Cleburne.
Sue dedicated four decades as a hairdresser, building a loyal clientele who cherished her talent. Her salon was a second home where friendships were nurtured and stories were shared, some stories her children wished she hadn’t shared.
Sue loved movies where her laughter resonated loudest, embarrassingly so, ensuring everyone knew she was present. Passionate about the performing arts, Sue spent countless hours creating costumes, though her true passion was acting. Her enthusiasm for the stage and creativity behind the scenes enriched the lives of those around her.
Sue's adventurous spirit led her to explore the world as much as possible, broadening her perspective and enriching her understanding of culture. Known for her unique personality and zest for life, she approached each day with a determination to experience as much as possible.
Despite life's challenges, Sue was committed to her children, imparting in them resilience, creativity, and compassion.
Sue Morgan leaves behind a family where she instilled a strong faith in GOD. She will be deeply missed by her children, grandchildren, extended family, and friends whose lives she touched in countless ways.
Rest in peace, Mom, knowing that your spirit and legacy will live on in all of us.
