Greg Campbell Jr. was born March 20, 1986 in Temple, Texas, to Greg Sr. ,and Elaine Campbell. Greg grew up in Evant were he enjoyed playing sports. Greg married his soulmate Jacklyn Glover of Jarrell on May 16, 2009. Greg enjoyed entertaining his family and friends with many smiles, his own language and storytelling. Other hobbies included riding motorcycles, watching Pittsburg Steeler and Texas A&M football, hunting, fishing and BBQing. Greg and Jacklyn’s life became complete on October 9, 2012 when their son Gauge Gregory Campbell entered their life. Anyone who knew Greg knew he was a loyal man. Greg was employed with Caldwell 2J Ranch and later joined the Central Texas Telephone Coop family were he had been employed for the last four years.
Greg died un-expectantly, in a motor cycle accident Thursday morning June 11, 2015. He was preceded in death by his mother Elaine Campbell, June 5, 1991.
He is survived by his wife Jacklyn Campbell and son Gauge. Dad, Greg Sr and mom Elois Campbell. Gran Bettye Kunze. Sister Jessica and husband Clint Honea. Stepbrother Jay Davis. Brother Branden Campbell. Sisters Mandy Campbell and Bettye Campbell. Brother Tyler Campbell. Several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Services were held Sunday, June 14 at 3 pm at the Barn Church in Hamilton, Texas. Reception following at Lee Healthcare Conference Center. Arrangements provided by Riley Funeral Home.
