Ewald Wulf

Ewald H Wulf, of Hamilton died in Granbury on March 5, 2015. Funeral services were held on Monday, March 9, 2015 in the Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ann Koopmann officiating and the burial followed in Oakwood Cemetery.

Mr. Wulf was born October 17, 1926 at Yorktown, the son of Herman Wulf and Erna Hengst Wulf. He was married to Ida Emma Rabbe on August 22, 1954 in the First Presbyterian Church in Hamilton.

He was a devoted and caring husband and companion to his wife and a loving father and grandfather. He was always there supporting his children and grandchildren in their lives.

Mr. and Mrs. Wulf were both active in supporting the many activities that their children participated in school and church and continued to support the school functions after their children had graduated. He was especially active in the local youth sports activities for many years. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Pottsville where he was active helping the church and community. Mr. Wulf worked as a Bookkeeper in Hamilton County for many years.

Survivors include his three children and their spouses. Richard Darrell Wulf and his wife Tammy of Houston, TX, Ronald Lynn Wulf and his wife Sheryl of Granbury, TX and Teri Melissa (Wulf) Montgomery and her husband Monty of Burleson, TX; grandchildren, Ryan, Cory, Travis, Carly and husband Bart, Colby and wife Chelsea, Braden and Madison; four great grandchildren; three sisters, Irene Wulf, Junell Lincke and Dianna Fudge; Also surviving him are brother in law Walter Rabbe and three sisters in law Shirley Wulf, Helen Ray and Frances Rabbe.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife on August 27 2005, both his parents, brother Milton Wulf brothers-in-law Bobby Fudge, Roland Lincke, Charlie Rabbe Jr., Lewis Ray, Gilbert Rabbe and sisters-in-law Dorothy Rabbe and Hazel Rabbe and father-in-law and mother-in-law; Charlie Rabbe Sr. and Ida Rabbe.

Pallbearers were: Mark Lincke, Bert Rabbe, Larry Eilers, Bill Funderburk, Ray Reinert and David Wright; The Honorary Pallbearer was Hilmer Koopmann.
