Passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at Wentworth Heights Long Term Care Facility in her 88th year. Survived by sisters, Kathleen and Margaret and predeceased by sister, Barbara. Vera worked for 22 years at McMaster University Hospital as a ward clerk on 3Y. Special thanks to Wentworth Heights staff, to Vera's cousin, Shirley Gamble (Brian) and to good friend, Jason VanBrederode, for their kindness and support. Cremation has taken place. Funeral Services will be held at Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Ave E on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 11 am. Private interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Hamilton Salvation Army.
