Predeceased by his parents Robert and Mary, his brother John and brother-in-law Tony Ciancone. Survived by his in-laws Bill and Dorothy Russ, sisters-in-law Debby Russ, Lisa Ciancone (Bill), Annette Norris and nieces and nephews Michael (Margaret), Richard, Teresa (Pat) and Jeff (Yani). Bob will always be lovingly remembered by Jody. He was the proud owner operator of Bob’s Automotive for 25 years with the love of his life, Wendy. It was there where he made many friendships; he was always willing to help out anyone regardless of their situation. He was a loving husband and friend to many. The family wishes to thank VON nurse Trish, Dr Salman, Dr Zaid, Dr Maybee, and the nursing staff on C3 at the Juravinski Hospital.
Due to Covid-19, all visitations and funerals are restricted to a specified number of attendees. All visitors will be required to wear a face covering, as well as provide name and telephone number to funeral home staff. Cremation has taken place and a Visitation to celebrate Bob’s life will be held at the Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Saturday, July 31, 2021 from 12 – 2 p.m. As per Bob’s wishes, please wear casual attire. If desired, in lieu of flowers donations to the Spinal Cord Injury Ontario or AVA cat rescue Hamilton would be appreciated.
