What a tragic loss. My thoughts and prayers are with the family, during this difficult time.

“Uncle” Rob,

There are few people in this world like you; loving, kind, humorous, determined, strength, never give up and to follow your dreams attitude to name a few. The love you had for your family is something I always looked up to. You had the most loving home and I always enjoyed my time there. So many childhood and present memories that will always be remembered from pool days, Ticat games, to just sitting around the couch chatting. I will continue to be there for Andrea which I know you always appreciated. I know you will be watching over Lori, Andrea and Nick.

I met Rob back when he was an excellent, gifted high school football player. He had decided he wanted to be a professional field goal kicker and punter and came down to Ivor Wynne to practice with me. I enjoyed his company and we loved to compete against each other.

Rob used this same competitive drive for excellence to build up his business, DeLuca Roofing. I had the privilege of working with him at his business and was so proud of his ability to listen to and connect with staff, customers and suppliers. He was a true professional in every sense of the word.

i was so sad to hear that rob passed,  to say that i was "so sad" just isnt enough, it was heart breaking,  we all knew he was sick, but we were always hopeful by each achievement and improvement in his health over the years,  he seemed to have it under his control....  i  just thought that he would go on and on, ....rob  seemed to be invincible to me.    my heart goes out to lori, andrea,  and nicholas. please accept our deepest condolences. rob was one of the good guys  and will be greatly missed in this world.

I have many treasured memories of Rob playing Football with..Either at Ballard school, Montgomery Park, but more importantly at Delta HS , we played Linebacker beside each other for years and that was always a fantastic time...Memories I will cherish forever..My heartfelt condolences go out  to his wife and children and the entire De Luca family...R.I.P..Rob..

Our sincere condolences to Lori and the entire family on Robert’s passing. As a cousin to Rob, Florence, Della and Joanne I have happy memories of Christmas Eve at the home of Uncle John and Aunt Rita. Lots of lively fun for us kids and a feast of comfort food! Rob was a good husband, father and brother to his sisters. He showed integrity in his personal life and in his business life. His brave fight against cancer was an inspiration to his family and friends. May his soul find rest in Heaven.

Broken hearted to learn of Robert's passing.  Even though we knew this was coming, it doesn't make it any easier to accept. One of the bravest, strongest fighters I've ever known.

Our long awaited Prince is born! Words, I'm sure, are what his  parents wanted to shout to the world. Why weren't all the cities church bells ringing?  And the Prince turned out to be a wonderful boy and a good son.  
 
I lived out of town for almost half his life so we didn't get to spend a lot of time together but that didn't matter when he took the opportunity to help me with a problem, something I will never forget. He made me feel good when we (Rob and young Andrea & Nick) ran into each other and he said to them, " Doesn't Aunty Diana look like Grandma Rita ?" 
We may not have been in each other's life a lot but I loved him and will miss my dear nephew terribly. 
My deepest sympathy to Lori, Andrea, Nicolas and the entire Deluca family. I know you all loved him very much and we will all miss him everyday forever.

I ran into your Mom at Juravinski a few years ago and she was worried then as your husband had been admitted the night before. I always wondered how things were and then I read this. Thinking of you and your family, such a beautiful looking couple ❤️❤️😥... so sorry

So many memories come to mind - its hard to pick just one. Rob was a man of great intelligence and was always willing to share that knowledge.  Sometimes, what I thought was a simple question, resulted in an hour long (or more) conversation. All you had to do was sit back, listen and you were guaranteed to learn everything you needed to know and more. I also learned never to question his memory - he never forgot a thing!! I am forever grateful for all my time spent in the presence of such an amazing man - he was a good boss but also truly cared deeply about all his employees.  We were not just staff, we were all a part of the DeLuca Roofing Family. We have lost a true champion - he will forever be missed but always have a special place in the heart of anyone who knew him. Rest In Peace!

My family and I wish our sincerest condolences to Lori Andrea and Nicolas.Having lost my father a few years ago I have experienced the hardship and pain when you lose A family member of true greatness to say the least.
My heart goes out to you.
As a man I looked up to Rob as I would my father or brother.
As my boss he was second to none.
For such a busy person he always made time for everybody.I first met Rob in 2002. My brother Mark worked at Deluca Roofing  and kept on telling me I had to meet Rob DeLuca.
Finally after a couple years I did meet Rob for a job interview and shortly after joined a winning team. I am still on that winning team along with many other long term Deluca employees. A successful business built by Rob and Lori who’s strength and integrity is  and will remain second to none.As a friend he was one of my few best friends.He loved  to go Speckel Trout fishing.
His style of fishing was definitely different than any I had witnessed. First fishing trip we hiked in across some fields and thick forest. Rob pointed to where we were going to go.There  was quite the body of water/swamp between us and the apparent creek that was over there somewhere.Rob began picking up logs that were somewhere in that range of 200 pounds plus and began restructuring the landscape so we could make it to fishing grounds nobody else ever would have tried. Years later I realized that was how he grew Deluca Roofing He restructured the way the roofing industry operated and brought Deluca Roofing to that promised land nobody else dared tried.
Robs rod and reel were armed with 2 pound test.When he later gave  me a spool  of 2 pound test it was so  fine  you couldn’t even tie the knot without risking the line breaking. And that was another testament of Rob always making things fair for everybody even the fish and yes Rob did catch the biggest Speckel Trout. So many memories will miss you always Rob;)


We are so sad for the loss of my dear cousin Rob. He fought like a warrior, he kept the faith, he was the tower of power. Just like everything he tackled in life, his determination was unparalleled.  I would read my husband the  text messages Rob had sent me regarding his health and treatments (he called them status reports) and Hank would say to me.  “Wow, he is really quite the guy” always impressed by Rob’s positive attitude & momentum . 
I’ve known Rob all of my life and have only admiration and  respect for him and the life he lived.  He will be missed and will remain in my heart forever as being a caring, thoughtful, respectful, determined,  successful man who treated others with kindness and loved his family  deeply.

I am truly sorry to hear the passing of Rob. I played football with Rob back in the mid 80's with the Burlington Braves. He was a punter that was built like a Linebacker. He always shared so many stories about when he was with Penn State University. Good memories with him. Sending my sincere condolences to the family

So sorry to hear of you passing my friend we spent many a night on the soccer fields together. You were a great man and friend to many. My prayers are with the Deluca family at this time.

I had the honor of meeting up with Rob through business over the past 30 years, we would meet up at many different home builder business functions, whether it be the Presidents Ball or one of the many stags, we would also have the chance to talk, to catch up on business, catch up on football - Go Cats Go. and of coarse his continuing battle with cancer.   This guy was a fighter, a true warrior, a great football player,  a great Dad and a great business friend!!!  We have lost a very respected business man, but the memories out weigh the sadness we will feel. God bless my friend. Dave Cone and family 

My heart aches for Rob's family.  He was a great step-nephew.  I have such good memories from his last visit to Florida.  He fought a good fight and may he rest in peace.  He will be missed.
