Neil Ward

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Neil in his 76th year. Neil died at home surrounded by loving family and friends after a courageous battle with a debilitating illness. Neil is survived by his loving wife Linda, his son Brandon (Katie), his daughter Heather (Matthew), his daughter Kelly (Matt), his brother-in-law Michael (Rob), and his sister-in-law Janet (Barb).

Neil was a dedicated grandfather to six wonderful grandchildren, Emma, Morgan, Gabriel, Jacob, Elizabeth and Winter-Grace.

The family would like to thank the compassionate and supportive coordinators and staff of Ontario Home Health, Bayshore Home Health and CBI Home Health, as well as his long-time physician and the staff of McMaster Family Practice for providing excellent care and comfort to Neil throughout his struggle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy.

Visitation will be held at the Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Avenue East, on Friday, Dec 27th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. A Memorial Service will be held from the Chapel on Saturday, Dec 28th at 2:00 pm with visitation 1 hour prior.

Neil’s love of family and friends, old cars and boats, his sense of humour and creative mind will be remembered by those who knew and loved him.
