Mieczyslaw Lipiec

Mietek (as many lovingly called him), was a loving husband of Halinka. Cherished father of Darek, Dorotka, Pawel, Kasia and Pawel. Admired father-in-law of Piotr, Magdalena, Krzysztof, and Christina. Devoted grandfather of Krystian, Marcela, Benjamin, Jacob, Emilia, Olivia, and Anthony, and a great grandfather of Nikodem and Maximilian.

He is survived by his siblings Gustawa, Wanda, Tadeusz, and Wieslaw, and predeceased by a younger sister Danuta.

Mieczyslaw was hardworking, with a strong character and a sarcastically funny sense of humour, he will be lovingly remembered and missed greatly by the whole family and his fur baby Kicia.

Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Friday, January 6 from 2-4 pm and 7-9pm with Rosary at 8 pm.

Rosary Service at St. Stanislaus Polish Catholic Church, 8 St. Ann Street, on Saturday, January 7, 2022 at 10:15 am until the time of Funeral Mass at 10:30 am.
