Maureen Arnold

Peacefully at Hampton Terrace Care Centre in Burlington on Saturday, May 12, 2012 in her 90th year. Pre-deceased by her loving husband Edward (Bill) Arnold (2004), her cherished sister Sarah (Lily) Scott, and her older brother John of Dorchester, Maureen is survived by her brother Nat (Ruth) of Hamilton. Dear aunt of Michael (Nicole) Davidson (Toronto) and Lynda James (Burlington). Warmly remembered by Beth and Mike Kondra, Ted and Barbara Arnold (Vancouver), Susan and Tom Moore (Barrie), Ted and Lynda Hughes (Burlington), and their families. Upon graduation from Central High School of Commerce at age 16, Maureen began work at Norton Abrasives where she worked for 20 years and established long lasting friendships. After a brief period at Zurich Insurance, Maureen worked at Canada Trust Main Branch, Hughson Street from where she retired in 1985. Maureen was a long time committed member of The Big Sisters (Frost Group). We are grateful for the care, kindness and friendship she received at Hampton Terrace Care Centre where she has lived since 2007. Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to remember Maureen at a Memorial Service at 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at MARLATT FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 615 Main Street East (east of Sanford) Hamilton.
