Mary Florence Roberta Huang

HUANG, Mary 1920 - 2013 Mary Florence Roberta Huang passed away peacefully on Monday, January 21, 2013. She is survived by her loving children Victorine (Gerard) MacNeil, Harriet (Ian) Finlay, Veronica Granger, Helena (John) Collins, Alexander (Mavi), William (Davanh), Juliana; dear Grandchildren Mary-Frances (Michael) MacNeil-Laflamme, Bill, Alexa, Rachel, Chynna, Tammy Jean, Richard and Daniel; also survived by her brothers Henry Chau and Walter Chau, as well as sisters-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her husband Shih Hsiung, her parents Jui-Sung and Lien-Foong Chou and brothers James, John and Alfred. We will all miss Mom's subtle wit and mischievous smile. All of her children and grandchildren admired her for her strength and determination to bring her family to Canada from India in order to give them a better life. Visitation with the family will be on Sunday, January 27, 2013 from 1 - 4 and 6 - 9 P.M. at the Cresmount Funeral Home (322 Fennell Ave. East, Hamilton). The funeral mass will be on Monday, January 28 at 11:00 A.M. in Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church (416 Mohawk Rd. East, Hamilton), followed by a reception at the church hall. According to Mary's wishes, cremation will follow and a private interment will take place in Resurrection Cemetery at a later date. If friends desire, donations may be made in Mary's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Lung Association.
