Born on November 28, 1934, in Al-Hasakah, Syria, Marine immigrated to Canada in 1976, where she built a new life for herself and her family. She was known for her love of cooking, often sharing meals with those she loved, and her kitchen was a place of warmth and comfort for all who gathered there.
Marine is predeceased by her parents, Toma Hanna and Jamila Bahade; her children, Jamie Robinson, Samuel Tahmoush, and Daoud Yachouh; and her beloved husband, Hanna Yachouh.
She is deeply mourned and will be forever cherished by her children, Leila, Jacques, Lucie, Theresa, and Elias; her many sons- and daughters-in-law; and her numerous grandchildren. Her legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to her family will live on in all who knew her.
Visitation will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Avenue E. on Monday, April 21, 2025 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will be held at St. Mark & St. Mina Syriac Orthodox Church, 480 Melvin Avenue on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 11am. Interment to follow at Mt. Hamilton Cemetery. Reception will be held at the church hall following the Interment. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mark & St. Mina Syriac Orthodox Church.
