It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved wife and mother on April 15, 2023 in her 73rd year.
Devoted wife of 49 years to Ivan (John). Loving mother of Allen (Louise), Melanie (Dylan) and the late Dennis. Cherished Baka of Julian, Christian, Emily, Joshua, Natalie, Emma and Noah. Dearest sister of Slavica Livojevic (Janko) and the late Marica Poljanac (the late Ivica). She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends in Canada, Croatia and Kansas. Helen will always be fondly remembered for her love and devotion towards her grandchildren as well as her many years of hairdressing. Words cannot express how much she was loved and will be missed by all. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Thursday from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm with Rosary at 7:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Church, 1883 King Street East on Friday, April 21, 2023 at 10 am. Interment to follow at Our Lady of the Angels Cemetery. If desired, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
