Pte. Jason Cyril Rees

With great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Jason on Friday, November 4, 2011 at his home in Hamilton, at the age of 24. Jason was serving proudly in the Canadian Armed Forces for the past two years. He was a certified Ammo Technician and recently moved to CFB Gagetown, NB to continue his career. Jason was the top academic student in his class and a well-rounded athlete. Loving son of Diana (Jack Rousseau), and Cyril Rees. Loving brother of Doris (Derek Lipscombe). Devoted father of Aislyn, Morgan, Cori and Cadence. Cherished fiancée and best friend of Tina Plante and children Savanah, Joshua and Terra. Grandson of Audrey and Jim Robitaille, and Guy Rousseau. Predeceased by Brandy Rees (sister), Jason Salisbury (cousin), Maxwell and Grace Rees (grandparents). Jason will be greatly missed by his many aunts, uncles and cousins from the Rees, Rousseau, Robitaille and Plante Families, and his many civilian and Military friends. The family will receive friends at MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, 615 Main St. E., Hamilton, ON, Sunday, November 13, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Jason's life will be celebrated at Christ's Church Cathedral, 252 James St. N., Hamilton on Monday, November 14, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to a Trust Fund established for Jason's children at CIBC 03762 acct# 80-32289 would be greatly appreciated by the family.
