Suddenly, on May 23, 2019 in her 86th year, at Macassa Lodge after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. Born July 16, 1933 in Hamilton Ontario. Predeceased by husband Thomas Gravefell (2000) Mother of Charlyne Payson of Sarasota Florida, Yvonne Harris (nee Bruce) and Charles Gravefell (nee Hilda) of Hamilton. Loving grandmother of Parys Jolly (nee Stephen) of Virgina, Ondrea Tatro (nee Michael) of Sarasota Florida, Tourell Casullo (nee Emidio) and Kyle Harris (nee Alyson) and Michael Brown (nee Charron) of Hamilton. Great- Grandmother of Rachell and Alexander Jolly, Logan and Emmaleigh Tatro, Austin Casullo, Jacob Usher, Lily Harris and Landen and Weston Brown.
Janet was a dedicated superintendent for 17 years with Effort Trust. She was an avid bowler at Dude’s Bowling Alley and Lucky Strike in Stoney Creek. Her family would like to thank Dr. Khera, and all the nursing staff and support workers at Macassa Lodge.
Cremation has taken place. Interment to take place at Bayview Cemetery in Burlington. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Alzheimer Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
