Peacefully at St Josephs Hospital on Sunday June 30, 2013 at the age of 95. Reunited with his loving parents Wincenty and Katarzyna, brothers Stanislaw, Jozef, Stefan and Wiktor. Beloved husband for 48 years to Katarzyna "Kathy" . Cherished father of John. A proud Polish-Canadian and WWII Veteran serving his country, actively participating in the Battle of Monte Cassino. Family and friends are welcome to visitation at the MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Wednesday from 3-6pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St Lukes Church, 200 Mount Albion Road on Thursday July 4, 2013 at 10am. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery to follow.
