June 17, 1926 - February 21, 2016 James V. Nicholson loving husband of Marjorie G. Nicholson (Crellin) for over 71 years; passed away at the Clarion Nursing Home, Stoney Creek, Ontario. Much loved father of Tom and (Marjorie) Nicholson, Susan and (Don) MacDonald, Judy and (Dave) Johnson, Pat Peeler, Sherri and (Bill) Kennah, Vicki and (Tom) Ayers, Kim and (Rick) Young. He will be greatly missed by 22 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Mary Nicholson (Leeder), six brothers, three sisters and their partners, and one grandchild. Jim was a long time employee of Canadian Westinghouse, Hamilton. Many thanks to the staff of Clarion Nursing Home for his care over the past few years. Visitation will be Wednesday, February, 24th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Cresmount Funeral Home - Fennell Chapel, 322 Fennell Ave. E. Hamilton, Ontario. Funeral will be held on Thursday, February 25th at 11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 701 Stone Church Road East, Hamilton, Ontario. Interment will take place in Mt. Hamilton Cemetery, Rymal Rd. E. (S/E corner of Rymal Rd. and Upper Wellington St.)
