Peacefully, after a courageous battle, at the Hamilton General Hospital on November 27, 2016. Beloved husband of Harriett for 54 years. Loving father of Nancy Bourque (Rod), Allan, and the late Jim. Cherished grandpa of Michael (Sarah), Dillon, Jennifer, Catherine, Jessica and great grandpa of six. Dear brother of Andrew (Mildred), the late Caroline Donegan, and the late Henry. Jimmy was a retired employee of Stelco Parkdale Works after 40 years of dedicated service and enjoyed being a soloist with the Hamilton Geritol Follies for 15 years. Special thanks to the wonderful staff of 4W at the Hamilton General Hospital for their care. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Gathering at MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Friday, December 2, 2016 from 2-4pm and 6-9pm. Donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
