In gratitude for a life well lived, Jim passed away peacefully at the Juravinski Hospital in his 79th year. Beloved Husband of Arlene (nee Davies) for 57 years, devoted and caring father of Jonathan (Natascha), Kathryn, and David. Proud and loving Grandfather to Victoria, Trent, Jacob, Nicholas, Keagan, and Liam. He will also be missed by Teresa, David, Jeff, and Natasha. Brother of the late Gary Grant(Kay) and Sister Ruth Craig (nee Grant), Jim will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews as well as extended family. Many thanks to our family at Chedoke Presbyterian Church for all of their support and prayers as well as the staff at the Juravinski Hospital for their amazing efforts. Jim spent his career at National Steel Car for over 40 years active in all aspects of the business and social events. He will be remembered by so many friends in the H.D.B.A. and H.D.U.A. where he was a life member. A dedicated volunteer with CANUSA and the Millennium Children’s Games, he enjoyed spending so many hours as Santa for numerous events and schools. Family and friends will be welcomed to join us for a celebration of Jim’s life at Chedoke Presbyterian Church 865 Mohawk Road West on Thursday May 19th, 2016 at 11am to be followed by a time of reflection and refreshments. Cremation has taken place. The Family asks, in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made to Chedoke Presbyterian Church.
