Henry Kafka

Surrounded by the love of his family, Henry left to join his wife Joyce of 55 years, who passed just two months ago. Deeply missed by his children Laura Morrison, Allison Jill Souter (Dave) and Derrill. Grandpa of Max (Daina), Dexter and Ben Souter. Great grandpa of Anson. Predeceased by his siblings Leo, Mary, Victor. Sadly missed by his siblings Lily, Bill, Joe, Jerry, Jane, Ken and their families. Henry proudly served in the US Marine Corps from 1959-1963. Henry was a longtime employee of Dofasco. Heartfelt thanks to the staff of Shalom Village for the compassionate care and support given to our parents and our family over the years. Visitation will be held at MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME 1774 King St. E (at Kenilworth) on Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 5-8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, May 12, 2017 at 1 pm. Interment of both Henry and Joyce will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
