Peacefully, at St. Peter’s Hospital in his 85th year. Beloved husband of the late Anna (2009). Loving father of Susan (Dean) Cameron. Cherished grandpa of Lindsay and Eric. Predeceased by parents George and Margaret and brother Ernest. Dear brother-in-law of Jean Ojero and Helen Cuthbertson. George was a long time member of The Masonic Fraternity. He was a Past District Deputy Grand Master, Past Master of Ionic Lodge 549, Past Patron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Past Advisory Board Member of Hamilton Assembly #1 Order of the Rainbow of Girls. George was a long time supporter of the Glasgow Rangers Soccer Club and an avid golfer. Special thanks to the staff of St. Joseph’s for their exceptional care. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Visitation at MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Sunday, April 24, 2016 from 1 pm until the time of Memorial Service at 2 pm.
