It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ewa, surrounded by her family, at St. Peter’s Hospital on February 20, 2018 at the age of 79. Ewa leaves behind her husband Stefan, daughter Danuta (Stefan), son Andrew (Larysa), and five beloved grandchildren Yuri, Roman, Lydia, Daria, and Marko. Will be sadly missed by four brothers and a sister in Poland. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Friday from 6-9 pm with Panahyda at 7:30 pm. Funeral Service at Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Church, 15 St. Olga Street, on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 10 am. Interment St. Volodymyr Cemetery, Oakville.
