Evelyn was surrounded by love as she joined her late husband William MacDonald and beloved son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Cheryl MacDonald. Evelyn is lovingly remembered by her granddaughter Jennifer (Robert Candlish) and her great-grandchildren Riley, Quinn and Wesley, who loved their G.G. very much. She is survived by her adoring brothers Douglas Parker (Evelyn Parker) and David Parker (the late Mary Parker). Evelyn is predeceased by her oldest brother and sister-in-law, Gregory and Eleanor Parker, as well as her parents, the late Eva and David Parker. She will be greatly missed by her caring nieces, nephews and her entire family. She was a great friend to many and we know she will live on in the hearts of all of those who surrounded her. To know Evelyn was to love her. She had a huge heart, a warm smile and a laugh you could never forget. When she was able to, she loved to travel, swim and play cards. But by far, her favourite activity was cleaning. She loved to clean and took great care of everything she touched. She was a very special person who left a legacy filled with wonderful memories. Warm thanks to the staff at Blackadar Continuing Care Centre for their care of Evelyn. Cremation has taken place and a private service and celebration of life will be held to honour Evelyn. Please contact the family for details.
