Ann is mother to Patricia Martin (Rob), Cynthia Di Benedetto (Umberto), Deborah Coles and Charlene Tilbury (Warren). Nona to Latisha (John), Ciarah (Sonny) and Tiah Di Benedetto, Brett and Brodie Fenner, Devon and Dalton Coles, and Great Nona to Sebastian.
She was welcomed into heaven by her sister Betsy Walker (survived by Wayne), and her brother Nelson Simmons. Ann is survived by her brother James Simmons, and sister-in-laws Sylvia Potticary (Roy predeceased) and Doris Paul (Gary).
Ann was retired from WSIB and prior she worked for the Children’s Aid Society and United Way. Ann was also in the Canadian Armed Forces in the First Independent Signal Squadron. She will be remembered for being a stoic woman, volunteer and a fighter until the end. She will be deeply missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Keeping with Ann’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Avenue E. on Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 1:00p.m. - 4:00p.m. Proof of full vaccination, along with government issued ID, are mandatory to attend indoor funeral services for those age 12 and older. Masks are required.
