After a long and wonderful life, surrounded by family, Elmer John Bamsey, age 98, of Hamilton, Ontario passed away on Monday, December 16, 2024. Predeceased by his loving wife, Frances. Dear father of Susan (Denis) and Sharon. Beloved Papa of Stacy (Kyle) and Jennifer. Great-Papa to Levi and Brody. He will be fondly remembered by many extended family and friends. Elmer worked at Union Gas in Hamilton for over 30 years until his retirement and later enjoyed volunteering in the woodworking room at Sackville Hill Seniors Centre. Special thanks to the nursing and recreation staff at Macassa Lodge, especially C1 E, for their care and compassion.
