Edna Mae Weylie Shea

It is with profound sadness, but also with deep gratitude for a life well lived, that we announce the passing of Edna Mae Shea, at the age of 74 on October 27, 2011. She was the best mother ever to her five children Janice (Colin), Carol (Steve), Cindy (Dwight), Tom (Christine) and predeceased by her infant son Barry. Loving grandma to Larissa, Brodie, Lindsay, Eric and predeceased by her infant granddaughter Brittany. Survived by her sister Norma (Jim) Mosgrove and brother Everett (Grace) Weylie. She will be dearly missed by her large extended family and many, many friends. Edna demonstrated her caring nature by remembering special dates of friends and family and sending cards and letters to acknowledge them. She was a member of Olivet United Church and an active member of the UCW. Special thanks to Dr. Fudge and the staff at St. Joseph's Hospital for the loving care and support. Visitation will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME 322 Fennell Avenue East on Sunday, October 30, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A service in memory of Edna will take place in the chapel of the funeral home on Monday, October 31, 2011 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Case United Church Cemetery (6180 White Church Rd. W. Mt. Hope). In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Olivet United Church or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.

Edna Mae will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
