After a courageous three year battle with cancer, peacefully at her home, on April 24, 2014 at the age of 61. Now re-united with her late husband and soulmate Roy Joseph Griffin (2010). Loving mother of Doug (Karen), Margaret Brookes (Rob) and Tom (Chantelle). Cherished grandma of Kayla, Tyler, Jesse, Emma, Cassandra, Ashley, Aiden and Robert. A heartfelt thank you to PSWs Heather, Christina and Kelly of Bayshore and also to Lori of CCAC, for their compassionate care. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Tuesday from 7-9pm where the Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at 11am. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Assistance Program would be greatly appreciated.
