Colleen "Coz" Noss

It is with aching hearts that we share with you that Colleen Noss (nee Robinson) has lost her long and heroic battle with cancer. Colleen leaves behind her husband John Noss, who will forever be the love of her life; her daughter Rachel Burnett (son-in-law Jay), and son Cody Hamilton. Oh how she would want the world to know just how much she loved being your mom.

Colleen spent her final months with those who loved her most – John, Rachel, Cody, and her sisters Marlene Page (and Roger), Barb Welsh, Brenda Jodway (and Rob) and Debbie Noss (and Bob). Colleen is survived by her Mother-in-law Maryann Noss, sisters-in-laws Barbara Weir and Donna Noss. Colleen will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly and who loved her for her “Roseanne like” sense of humour. Colleen is also survived by siblings Gail McKeegan, Frank Robinson, and Sharon Lemaire.

Pre-deceased and waiting in heaven are her Mom, Dad, brothers Gary and Jimmy, Father-in-law Robert Noss and her beloved honey bunny Brian.

Colleen was so proud of her 25+ years working with the strong women of Good Shepherd Women’s Services – her GSWS family. We hope Colleen will most be remembered for her comical stories and sometimes blunt remarks. We make no apologies if you were ever offended - Colleen would not want us to do that.

The family would like to acknowledge the wonderful care Colleen received through Bayshore Home Health, and especially to RN's Rachel and Clarissa who have been a godsend through this journey. Also Dr. Major, Dr. Russell, RN Deb Evans, Dr. Crosthwaite, and far too many others to list.

During this unprecedented time of COVID, we ask that each of you take a moment to celebrate Colleen’s life in your own way. As for the family, we will reminisce and share our favourite stories, and we will smile. We think she’d like that. Arrangements entrusted to Markey-Dermody Funeral Home, 905-547-1121.
