It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Chris at Regina Gardens on August 11, 2017 at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Fred for 53 years. Loving mother of Patricia Boyer (Raymond), Thomas Gale (Bev), Nancy Neil (Don), Heather Kowalski and Kenneth Newport (Christine). Survived by ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by Helen Kell, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Predeceased by her sisters Betty and Kay. Special thanks to the staff of Chedoke Falls at Regina Gardens for their care. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Monday from 7-9 pm and Tuesday 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm where the Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 11 am. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of choice would be appreciated.
