It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Carol on Friday, October 2, 2015, after a courageous and graceful battle with cancer. Carol leaves behind her loving husband of 46 years, Ken. She will be missed by her children Chris (Eva) and Jim (Rachel). She will never be forgotten by her grandchildren Maggie, Noah, Emaly, Noah and Ben. Predeceased by her parents Henry and Edna Ellis. Carol also leaves behind her brother Bill (Lynn) Ellis and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The Gemini gang will never be the same. To her dearest and best friend Maria, we give special thanks. To the staff and volunteers at the Bob Kemp Hospice, we can not express how grateful we are for all their care, kindness and compassion. A Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, October 9, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. at the Waterfront Banquet Centre (555 Bay Street North). In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to the Bob Kemp Hospice.
