Angie will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her husband of 22 years, Effhraim, and her children Giefhamae (Mary) and John Emmanuel. She was predeceased by her brother, Cornelio, her sister, Fely, her grandparents (Marcelino Laderas, Aleja Saltiban Laderas, Geronimo Salayon, Salome Salayon and Rufina Saltiban), and her father-in-law, Rufino Infante.
Angie was born on August 29th, 1975, in the Philippines and left in 2006 to work and live abroad to provide for her husband and daughter. She made Canada her permanent home in 2008 and brought her family to join her in 2014. She later had her second child, a son, in 2015.
For many years, Angie dedicated her efforts to being a caregiver for many loving families. She was known to be patient, loving, hard-working and radiant. Her gentle demeanor and caring nature made her a trusted presence in the lives of those she cared for.
A life filled with passion, kindness, and devotion were the forefront of Angie’s beliefs and values. She was a religious advocate who also loved to express her artistic abilities through sewing, cross-stitching, and gardening. One of her greatest accomplishments was building a prayer group for Our Lady of Mercy in the Philippines and a prayer group for Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Canada. But most of her cherished moments were spent with her husband, children, siblings, other relatives, and friends. Angie felt most fulfilled when she was surrounded by those she loved dearly.
Angie’s fun-loving spirit and generosity has touched the lives of many and her loss has left a deep void in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her kindness and unwavering love for her family and friends will be remembered always and her memory will live in the hearts of all that were fortunate to know her.
The family would like to thank her husband, Effhraim, her children, Mary and John, her siblings (Gloria, Felipe, Tessie, Ferdinand, Arnel, Fe and Federex), her parents (Federico and Felicidad), her brothers in-law (Edwin and Danny), her sister in-law (Gigi), her nephew (Kenneth), her nieces (Lanny, Laiza, Josephine and Leanne), Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice (Kathy, coordinators, PSWs, and nurses), and those who visited her, for the care and compassion that they showed Angie in her final days. The family would also like to thank Angie’s extended relatives all over the world especially in the Philippines, close friends, prayer group members, and others who have provided them with much love, prayers and support during this difficult time.
