Ruth (Garner) Zeisloft, age 95 of Oxford, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024 at McCullough Hyde Hospital. She was born on August 16, 1928 in Hamilton, the daughter of the late Ora and Lillie (Sandidge) Garner. Ruth owned and operated a ceramic shop for many years. She enjoyed making ceramics, pottery, knitting, quilting and raising birds. Ruth was a member of Park Avenue United Methodist Church in Hamilton. On November 6, 1947, she married Stanley D. Zeisloft, Jr. and he preceded her in death on January 30, 2019. Ruth is survived by her extended family members and friends. She was also preceded in death by her children, Sharon Ruth Zeisloft and Robert D. “Bob” Zeisloft; and siblings, Emerson, Earl, William, Clarence and Lewis Garner, Esther Tipton and Hazel Campbell. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 from 11am to 12pm at the Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home. Funeral ceremony will follow at 12pm. Interment will be held at Rose Hill Burial Park.
