Robert "Bob" Woebkenberg

Age 89, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Sunday, October 6, 2024. He was born on September 30, 1935, the son of the late Marie (nee Nohrer) and Alphonse Woebkenberg of Reading, Ohio. He married Carol (Robinson) Woebkenberg on August 27, 1955, and they spent 66 years together until her passing in 2021. Bob was employed at Champion Paper until his retirement in 1997. After retiring, Bob and Carol moved to North Port, Florida to fulfill their dream of living in the Sunshine State. They enjoyed traveling in their motorhome to many bluegrass festivals and spent several summers visiting their family. Bob had a profound love for his family and thoroughly enjoyed everyone coming together. Bob was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan and a fan of the Cincinnati Bengals. He enjoyed playing cards, softball, golf, and bowling. Bob is survived by his five children, Robert J. (Lisa) Woebkenberg, Cindy (Joel) Bryant, Gayla (Greg) Proctor, Linda (Russell) Linton, and Lisa (Greg) Adkins; six grandchildren, Craig (Teria) Bryant, Joel Bryant, Kendra (Doug) Powell, Kara Woebkenberg, Stephanie Linton, and Samantha Duffy; nine great-grandchildren, Robby (Maria) Vollrath, Caitlynn Bryant, Madison Vollrath, Dalton Clark, Kaylynn Helton, Drew Helton, Alexa Helton, Haley Wirgau, and Jaiden Duffy; and two great-great-grandchildren, Henry Musgrove and Winter Rae Vollrath. He also leaves behind his brother, Ronnie (Georgia) Woebkenberg; sister, Shirley (Danny) Hodge; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Woebkenberg; parents, Alphonse and Marie Woebkenberg; and sister, Rita Tekulve. A Visitation for Bob will be held on Monday, October 14, 2024 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, 240 Ross Avenue, Hamilton Ohio, followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 pm. Immediately following the Service, Bob will be laid to rest in Butler County Memorial Park, 4570 Trenton Oxford Road, Hamilton Ohio. Condolences may be left for the family at www.Webb-Noonan.com
