Robert S. Glaab, husband of the late Betty Jo (Oliver) Glaab and beloved patriarch, died March 4, 2017 at the age of 85. Bob was born in Hamilton and graduated from Hamilton Catholic High School in 1950. He served in the United States Army in the Korean War. Bob retired from Ford Motor Company after 36 years. He was a 45 year member of Benjamin Franklin Lodge #719 F&AM, Scottish Rite, The Cincinnati Shrine Club, a Charter member and past president of the Desert Holding Corporation. Bob is survived by brothers, Carl and Gary (Sue) Glaab, his children, William (Jessie) Fant, Sherri Coghill, Rhonda (Dale) Shinkle, Belinda (Wayne) Kendall, Robert (Angela) Glaab, 13 grandchildren, James Douglas, Stephanie Cade, Tyler Kendall, Jodi Pitcher, Joe Pierson, Chad Kendall, Adam Kendall, Sara Coghill, Christopher Fant, Kyle Fant, Gabe Kendall, Piper Glaab and Darby Glaab and 18 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl B. and Emma (Lowe) Glaab and sisters Rosemary (Earl) Ramseyer, Francis Landrum, and Donna Bryant. The family expresses gratitude to John & Gale Browning and Ray & Norma Sizemore for their friendship. Visitation with Masonic service will be held March 15th, 2017 at Webb Noonan Funeral Home, 240 Ross Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45013 from 10:00 to 12:30. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 2550 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45013. Interment will follow at Butler County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Queen of Peace Church or Badin High School.
